Battery energy storage for businesses
A system planned around your equipment, daily energy use and backup priorities. For clinics and commercial buildings in Ontario.
Scheduled daily use and outage backup in one system, installed by licensed electrical contractors.
Two jobs, one system
Select a state to see where power comes from. A concept view, not a wiring diagram.
Your backup priorities
Choose your site type, tap a few essentials and pick how long they should run.
A battery system designed for your site, with installation and commissioning coordinated by EnoPower.
We start with the equipment you want protected and how your building uses energy through the day, not a battery size.
See equipment for your site ›What stays on, for how long, and the reserve kept back are set out together in your proposal, so the trade-offs are visible before you decide.
See what affects backup time ›Service voltage and phases, motor starts, installation conditions and operating hours shape the design, not a one-size kit.
Review three-phase requirements ›We ask for technical details only when they matter.
Use the planner or send a quick request. No electrical knowledge needed.
We confirm the electrical service, installation location and equipment, by documents or a visit.
Configuration, what stays on, transfer arrangement, scope and pricing, with assumptions listed.
A licensed electrical contractor installs under permit. Tests, settings and documents are recorded at handover.
Tell us what should stay powered and where the site is. We review it and come back with questions or a proposal. No account required.

Solutions
A commissioned charge schedule for normal days, a transfer arrangement and protected loads for outages, integrated for your site. Solar optional.
Coverage
The right level depends on your equipment, your electrical service and how long you need backup.
Lights, network, computers and refrigeration on selected circuits.
Essentials plus key equipment and some heating or cooling.
A design objective, not a default. It needs a load, startup, phase, duration and wiring review before we confirm it.
Site fit
Two buildings with the same equipment can need different systems. Four things we check before anything is promised.
Target configurations are 120/240 V split-phase and 120/208 V three-phase. Other services, including 347/600 V, are reviewed per site. Optional solar is sized with the storage, where the site and configuration allow.

Planning information. Your proposal states the configuration for your site.
Tell us about the site. We review it and prepare a proposal.
Platform
An EnoPower system is configured for each project. Monitoring, permitted-load control and compatible lighting are planned capabilities and are shown separately.
Configured for each project
Capacity sized for the project.
Arrangement confirmed per site.
Agreed in your proposal.
Planned capabilities
Monitoring, permitted-load control and compatible lighting
Availability and compatibility require a documented release. Not part of current proposals.
Conceptual system relationship only. Not a wiring diagram or an upgrade guarantee.

{{ ex.linkLabel }}Overnight
The battery charges while electricity is priced lower.
Daytime
The grid supplies the building. The battery holds its charge and reserve.
Higher-priced hours
Stored energy supplies part of the building.
During an outage
Protected loads move onto stored energy through the transfer arrangement in your proposal. An automatic transfer switch (ATS) does this without an operator; a manual transfer switch (MTS) needs an authorized person. A reserve is kept back for this.
The reserve trade-off: energy kept for outages is energy not used on the daily schedule. Settings are agreed at commissioning and can be changed.
Illustrative. Hours follow your rate plan and settings agreed at commissioning.

Backup time is not a property of the battery alone. Four quantities decide it together, and your proposal states each one for your configuration.
kW
Everything that runs at the same time, plus startup surges from motors.
kWh
Stored energy the system can actually deliver, after conversion losses and depth-of-discharge limits.
%
The share held back for outages instead of being used on the daily schedule.
h
How long the protected load should run. Fewer loads or a larger reserve stretch the same energy further.
Roughly, the energy held in reserve divided by the protected load gives the hours. We give a figure for your site only after a technical review.
Five questions worth asking of any proposal, ours included, and where EnoPower answers each one.
Listed by name in your proposal, from the equipment you selected in the planner and the site assessment.
Stated as a continuous rating and a startup allowance, with the startup data we collected for compressors, pumps and HVAC.
Given as hours for the listed loads at the agreed reserve, with usable energy and losses shown, not a battery size alone.
The transfer arrangement (ATS or MTS), expected interruption, alarms and the return to grid supply are described for your configuration.
Scope, exclusions, permit and inspection responsibilities, and the commissioning record you receive at handover.
A postal code is enough to start.
Backup, scheduling, peak demand, and what should stay on.
Bills, equipment lists or drawings. Not sure is fine.
Never open an electrical panel or remove a cover to answer our questions. We collect those details during review.

A few basics so we can route your request.
Choose everything that applies. Planned features are labelled and are not part of current proposals.
Choose what needs to stay on. Add ratings if you know them; we confirm the rest in review.
Choose familiar equipment. Typical values are used until you add your own.
Backup is not selected, so this step is optional.
Essential means it must stay on. Occasional means it runs now and then, not all day.
Essential items are what must stay on. Occasional use counts for a quarter of the time, or less.
Attach your load schedule in the Site step. A specialist reviews it. No figure is calculated here.
Equipment you selected is kept as notes and never added to this total.
Optional. Share what you know and we confirm the rest during review.
Bills, equipment lists, load schedules, drawings or photos of existing conditions. PDF, images, CSV or Excel, up to 10 MB each.
Files upload as soon as you add them, to private storage for this request. Delete takes a file out of this request and asks our server to erase the uploaded copy. The list shows when that is confirmed.
Preview build: files stay on this device and are not uploaded.
Never open a panel or remove a cover for a photo. Do not upload patient information or payment details, and redact account numbers you do not need to share.

For contractors
Submit a client project, find technical documents or register partner interest. Each one is separate.
Send load schedules, drawings and service details. You keep the client relationship, and client details are not needed to start.
Start a project ›Checklists and templates for site readiness, electrical data, responsibilities and commissioning.
Browse documents ›Reselling, referral and installation are separate relationships. Terms are discussed individually.
